We're doing it again! Welding THEN Drinking in honor of Father's Day but also, it's bon fire season! Either way! Weld with a friend/dad/brother/sister... whoever!

 

Come join us for this fundraising event where we will be building two Fire Pits, one for Fletcher Park and another in a new food incubator in Garfield that we will be opening this coming Fall/Winter!

Part two in our series of 'How The ?!*@ do I buy A House'. The scary credit conversation...how does it work, why does it do what is does, how does it affect your home buying process and how you can make the conversation less scary.

Anthony Ruiz from Credit Plus will be with us to share his knowledge on all things credit and answer questions along the way. 

This series is proudly presented to you for free by Martine Locke (Artist/Musician. Ruckus Maker in Residence and Realtor with Deb Kent Gallery of Homes) & Heather Neuner and Kacie Munden from Finance of America - Parker Mortgage Team because we want to help you get into your own home.

My goal is to give you resources, answer your questions and see if we can get you into the home of your dreams...if not now, then to come up with a plan to make it happen for you.

Women Welders

Have a special woman in your life? Well for this Mother's Day we are hosting a women's only workshop for those of you who want to weld along side your mother, wife, sister, best friend, or daughter (18+). Safety gear is included in class fee along with metal.

 

Our Women Welders workshop on May 12th from 9am - 1pm will be a 4 hour intro to welding class. Participants will learn the basics of welding and create either a plant hanger or trellis for a small garden. 

 

Proceeds help fund our organization and programming.

RUCKUS Welding then Drinking Class

Looking for something new to do with your friends/significant other?

Interested in doing a community project? 

Are you 21 and over?  Love Beer? 

Try our Welding+Drinking Class. A series of workshops that support RUCKUS programming.   You create a community-oriented project while learning how to weld functional pieces.

We are starting off this series making some brightly powder coated trash/recycling bins for Mass Ave. They will have unique design elements and small metal plates where class participants names will be added.  Working in pairs of two, you will learn the basics of Mig welding, material layout, cutting and grinding. 

After class, we head down the hallway to Centerpoint Brewery for beer samples.  Learn to weld, give back to the community, and try some great beers. 

Class Fee: $75    Fee includes all materials, shop safety gear and beer samples.   Class size is limited.

ArtSpeak dives deep into the mind of the artist through intimate creator conversations. The featured guest will tell their story by sharing some of their most personal pieces, and how those pieces have shaped them as an artist.

We're thrilled to announce the very first ArtSpeak Fundraiser! We've been wanting to throw a big party and we've finally decided to do it! All proceeds will go towards ArtSpeak's operational costs and brand growth.

We'll have live music from Davey AsaphRiver Thief, & Tony Styxx, a silent auction with art from ArtSpeak alumni, facepainting for the kids, Lick ice cream, a photo booth, and more fun than you can have!

Tickets will be $12 online and $15 at the door.
